2017 marks Dietsmann’s 40 years anniversary

In 1977 Peter Kütemann established Dietsmann and won his first contract to provide crew for a single gas production platform in the Dutch sector of the North Sea. Peter Kütemann, as President & CEO, has since led the company through many challenges and successes. To celebrate the 40-year milestone in 2017, a book will be published detailing the history of the company. Unlike typical corporate publications, Dietsmann’s history will be told in a… comic book.

“Dietsmann, 40 years of adventure” will tell the tale of one man’s initiative that grew into the largest independent company specializing in Operation & Maintenance services for continuous-production plant in the oil & gas, power and mining industries. Dietsmann today employs more than 5000 people in 20 countries.
Having thrived as a privately-owned company, Dietsmann’s success factors include an open eye for opportunity, new markets and technological developments and a professional and responsible approach in employing people, dealing with the environment and caring for the resources it is entrusted with. Financially independent and debt-free, Dietsmann’s stability and continuity are ensured even in these challenging times.

While describing its corporate history in a comic book, with drawings by the renowned Dutch cartoonist Eric Heuvel, Dietsmann does not hesitate to include failures that led to the company’s eventual successes. All together, ‘Dietsmann, 40 years of adventure’ will provide a funny, self-conscious and revealing story of true entrepreneurship.
The book will be available in late summer. If you would like to read the first chapter of the book and find out whether you will be entitled to a free copy of the book when it is published register on www.dietsmann.com/dietsmann-comic-book-registration-form.
