Dietsmann sponsors the Annual Russia Offshore Meeting in Moscow for the third time
Dietsmann was once more a sponsor of the Annual Russia Offshore Meeting in Moscow and jointly with Total presented a paper on operating & maintenance in Arctic environment. Alongside the conference, the Russia Offshore 2010 Exhibition provided an opportunity to find out more about technologies and services of some leading companies operating in harsh offshore environment. Dietsmann’s exhibition stand at the entrance to the conference attracted much attention from the senior executives.
The session of the second day of the conference was opened by Pierre-Alexandre Rives, Head of Maintenance and Inspection, TOTAL E&P, and Dietsmann’s Executive Director, Gilles Reynaert. The theme of their joint presentation was ‘Prospects and opportunities for the development of offshore projects in the Arctic – fighting time and severe climate’. Mr. Rives presented Dietsmann as the referenced O&M contractor, noting that more than 30% of Total’s General Maintenance and Operation Contracts are executed by Dietsmann.
Their presentation focused on activities that play a critical role in delivering operation and cost efficiencies, for example in the Maintenance and Inspection Engineering process. Mr. Reynaert described two examples of contracts Dietsmann is operating for Total; Kharyaga, North of the Arctic Circle in Russia and on the Alima floating production unit, off the Congolese coast.
This year’s event attracted senior executives from oil and gas giants, leading technology providers, government officials, state institutes and major media publications.
