Dietsmann awarded contract extension in Angola

At the end of June 2017 Total E&P Angola awarded Sonadiets - Dietsmann’s Angolan joint venture subsidiary - a three years extension of the General Maintenance Services contract for both the Pazflor and Clov FPSOs (Floating Production, Storage and Offloading vessels). Sonadiets has been operating on both the Pazflor and Clov since their construction began in 2010 and 2013 respectively.

Dietsmann acquires 97% of shares in Bulgarian Energoremont

Dietsmann has acquired 97.5% of the shares of Energoremont Holding in Bulgaria [BUL: 6EG]. The remaining 2.5% of the shares are held by minority shareholders through the Bulgarian Stock Exchange. Dietsmann made the decision to acquire a presence in the Balkan peninsula after extensive analysis identified the region’s potential. With Energoremont, Dietsmann has acquired not only the largest maintenance company in Bulgaria, but also access to the nuclear and conventional power and mining sectors in Asia and Eastern Europe. Bulgaria’s competition authority gave the green light to Dietsmann’s acquisition of Energoremont Holding.

Dietsmann’s safety culture recognised once again by ENI

Awarded first prize in mechanical maintenance category during ENI’s safety awards 2017.
During ENI’s Worldwide Safety Day, which took place in Milan on 6 June 2017, Dietsmann was awarded the first prize in the Mechanical Maintenance category.
This is the first year ENI has had a “Maintenance” category. Last year Dietsmann was included in, and won the first prize in, the EPC category.

2017 marks Dietsmann’s 40 years anniversary

In 1977 Peter Kütemann established Dietsmann and won his first contract to provide crew for a single gas production platform in the Dutch sector of the North Sea. Peter Kütemann, as President & CEO, has since led the company through many challenges and successes. To celebrate the 40-year milestone in 2017, a book will be published detailing the history of the company. Unlike typical corporate publications, Dietsmann's history will be told in a... comic book.

Dietsmann joins the SPRINT Robotics initiative

As part of its continuous efforts to implement smarter and, first and foremost, safer operations, Dietsmann recently joined the Sprint Robotics Collaborative ( as a participant. The SPRINT Robotics Collaborative is a new, industry-driven initiative that promotes the development, availability and application of robotics techniques in the technical inspection and maintenance of capital-intensive infrastructure.
