The Dietsmann shareholders are well aware that these are times of major transitions in the digital and energy worlds. This requires a management team that understands and embraces these developments and challenges.
We are therefore appointing a younger and dynamic management team who we believe has the skill set to lead the company through this evolution.

Effective 5th October 2021, the Board of Directors of Dietsmann N.V. consists of the following members. All new appointees are long standing members of the Dietsmann team.

Peter Kütemann – Chairman and President
Cesare Canevese – Group Managing Director
Alaa Makki – Chief Operating Officer
Rob Lindner – Chief Legal Officer
Guillaume Vigouroux – acting Chief Financial Officer

Peter Kütemann, Dietsmann founder and shareholder, remains Chairman and President of the Management Board.

Cesare Canevese replaces Gilles Reynaert, 62, who has served 22 years as our GMD. Cesare, 42, has been with Dietsmann for more than ten years. During this time, he has served as IPP project manager in Libya, Nigeria and Congo, Head of Tendering in Monaco, Country Manager in Romania, and Regional Director of Europe.

Alaa Makki replaces Alex Bouigue, 63, who served the company for 28 years. Since 2019 he sat on the Board as COO. Alaa, 49, has been with Dietsmann for 14 years. His most recent roles included Vice President of Dietsmann Russia and Regional Director for the Slavic region. He has also held various positions in Congo, Nigeria, and Kazakhstan.

Rob Lindner,56, remains the group’s Chief Legal Officer which position he has held since 2006.

Guillaume Vigouroux is appointed Head of Finance, replacing Hessel van Riel, 53, who was with our company for 25 years, 15 of which as CFO. Guillaume, 49, joined Dietsmann in 2000 and occupied the position of Senior Director for Reporting and Consolidation.

With the appointment of the new management team, the company is well placed to benefit from the opportunities the energy transition is bringing. It will propel the company as it branches out into new technologies and strengthen its position as a leader in predictive maintenance.
