Dietsmann awarded GMC contract in Tempa Rossa, Italy

At the end of September 2017 Total E&P Italia awarded the Global Maintenance Contract (GMC) for Tempa Rossa to a consortium of Dietsmann (60%) and Dandrea (40%). The technical phase started in November 2016, this new four year GMC contract, which will involve over 50 new jobs, is scheduled to start during the 1st quarter of 2018.

Tempa Rossa is operated by Total (75%) and Shell (25%) and is located at an altitude of 850 meters in the Southern Apennines. Oil and gas will be extracted from the field, which is more than 4,000 meters beneath the surface, via six wells. The project consists of maintaining a production and processing center for the oil and gas. The field will increase Italy’s oil production by nearly 40%.
Ensuring that its activities continue to meet the high quality of safety, security and training it has built up over 40 years is a priority for Dietsmann. As always Dietsmann will strive to maximize local employment for the execution of this contract.
