Dietsmann has recently joined the OGCI’s Aiming for Zero Methane Emissions Initiative as a Supporter, teaming up with energy companies in their efforts to curb the warming impact of their operational methane emissions.

The Oil and Gas Climate Initiative (OGCI), a consortium led by the CEOs of major energy companies from around the world, launched this important initiative in March this year.

We warmly welcome Dietsmanns support for the Aiming for Zero Methane Emissions Initiative. Daring to aim for zero methane emissions is important. Dietsmanns support will be crucial as the energy industry strives to achieve zero methane emissions by 2030,” said Bjørn Otto Sverdrup, chairman of OGCI’s executive committee.

As an Aiming for Zero Supporter, Dietsmann will work closely with the initiative’s Signatories (producers, refiners and marketers) to provide consultative expertise, technical solutions and well adapted maintenance programs to meet their methane reduction goals.

Dietsmann is a company that has operated in the energy sector for more than 45 years. Our services and know-how have always been driven by continuous efforts to reduce the environmental footprint of energy transformation and delivery, making the environmental concerns central in defining the strategy to progress with our sustainability targets, said Cesare Canevese, Chief Executive Officer, Dietsmann.
