NetcoDietsmann considers Human Capacity Development a great motivational tool. This is why the Company has been investing in it and collaborating with local training providers for many years.

To further work on in and on Technology Transfer Plan, NetcoDietsmann continues to partner with NETCO to train young engineers through specific trainings in Gas Turbine, Piping technology, HRSG, Electricity Generation, Transmission and Distribution.

The objective is to empower them with the required skills to become future drivers of the Nigerian power sector.

Selected candidates acquire training and experience in all aspects of O&M techniques, working on-site on Power Plants.

Despite this initiative’s impressive results, gaps remain within the industry. This informed the need to set up NetcoDietsmann Training Academy.

NetcoDietsmann intends to leverage on existing gaps by investing in training to produce world-class training courses/programmes (technical and soft skill), as required by the industry.

In 2018 NetcoDietsmann became an active member of the Oil & Gas Trainers Association (OGTAN), an organization seeking ways to develop human capacity locally.

Executive and members of OGTAN headed by the President, Dr. Afe Mayowa, paid a courtesy visit to NNPC Group Managing Director, Mallam Mele Kolo Kyari, and Honorable Minister of State for Petroleum Resources, H.E Timipre Sylvia, on October 8.

NetcoDietsmann was represented by Country Manager, Massimo Troiani.

  1. Invitation of the Ministry and NNPC to the OGTAN 2020 Conference
  2. Patronizing and collaboration with OGTAN members
  3. Partnering with OGTAN to ensure some trainings take place in Nigeria
