On 3 November the new offices in central Luanda of SONADIETS Limitada, Dietsmann’s Angolan joint venture subsidiary, were officially inaugurated;

Dietsmann has been active in Angola since 1986 when it was awarded its first Operation & Maintenance contract. In July 2000 Dietsmann’s President, Peter Kütemann, signed a joint venture agreement with Angolan National Oil Company Sonangol President, Dr. Manuel Vicente. The joint company, called SONADIETS, was one of the first joint ventures between a National Oil Company and an International Oil Services Company.

Sonadiets’ administrative activities have been relocated to new and modern offices on the Rua Augusto Silverino Ferreira in Maculusso district in the center of the Angolan capital Luanda.
In addition to providing a more appropriate and strategically central location, closer to clients and better able to meet their needs, the new headquarters provides the space and facilities needed for its expanding operations in the country. The 580m2 facilities comprise administrative and engineering offices.

To enable the Dietsmann’s policy of employing local people in the maximum number of positions to be fulfilled, Sonadiets also has a state-of-the-art training center in Luanda’s Morro-Bento district.
