Dietsmann always aims to meet its stakeholders’ highest levels of expectation in respect of Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) and sustainability. Dietsmann adheres to the principles of integrity, respect, loyalty, efficiency and transparency laid down in its Business Code of Conduct and Ethics Policy and the Company is a signatory to the United Nations Global Compact – the world’s largest corporate citizenship and sustainability initiative.

The United Nations Global Compact is both a corporate responsibility initiative and a strategic policy initiative for businesses to align their operations and strategies with ten universally accepted principles in the areas of human rights, labor, the environment and anti-corruption.

The dedication and professionalism of its employees reflect the Company’s values and we believe this is a decisive factor in Dietsmann’s continuing success. Sustainability is central to our conduct. We always operate in an economically, environmentally and socially responsible way; the triple bottom line of ‘people, planet and profit’:

Sustainable economic performance

This objective demands that we operate according to our values, the highest standards of Corporate Governance and our Business Code of Conduct and Ethics Policy. We therefore run and expand our business in a sustainable way, for the benefit of clients, current and future employees, the communities in which we work around the world, and our shareholders.

Sustainable environmental performance

An objective that addresses two key areas: minimizing the environmental impact of clients’ operations and of our own activities. We take pride in our conduct in the field of ‘Environment and sustainable development’, as described under Health, Safety, Environment & Quality (HSEQ). The better our performance in these areas, the greater the benefit for clients, the natural environment in which we operate as well as society at large.

Sustainable social performance

This objective includes respecting human rights by providing sustainable and fair employment, training and career development opportunities (more at ‘Human Resources’). We strive to provide opportunities for the nationals of the countries in which we operate, for the benefit of local economies and communities, our local employees and their families. Especially important in our industry, we are committed to protect the health and safety, both of our own employees and others affected by our activities. We are proud to have an outstanding record in this area.
